I am spending my Sunday tinkering with pagination of some of my picture books. It’s proving to be trickier than it sounds. I had bookmarked an incredible post about picture book layouts by Tara Lazar way back when and I finally dug it up again.
Tara is the author of four picture books: The Monstore, I Thought This Was a Bear Book, Little Red Gliding Hood, and Normal Norman. I’m happy to announce that she has three more titles on the way in 2017 and 2018.
I’ve attended several of Tara’s workshops at NJSCBWI events and even had a one-on-one critique with her. She most likely doesn’t remember me (because she’s very busy!), but I’m a fan of all things Tara. She’s talented, down-to-earth, and willing to share tons of information with other writers.
